Connection of a patient handset or authorised device for call initiation using the DIN7 socket. Equipped with call button with easily recognizable as well sensible pressure point is the device prepared for safe call initiation. Also equiped with call button (in data bus operating mode only) as well as to unsubscribe a connected handset. Option: Bed intercom in combination with a multifunctional patient handset for communication with nursing staff. Controlled by a superordinated room controller (IP) via the data bus (DBUS) or call input (I/O), such as a room terminal or a room electronic module. In data bus mode: connection of an ext. call unit to the call input (I/O). Handsets are monitored by the bed units according the specifications of VDE 0834 using an interactive data bus. The bed unit is equipped with 2 control outputs for managing up to 2 light sources. Additional firmware licenses required to deploy new device functionalities.
